The Bashful is a crossing of paths of two unique bands, Brooklyn's rock-infused Stray Volts and LA/NYC indiepunk band, the happy problem. With strains of Nirvana, The Police, Blondie, even Janis Joplin, The Bashful combined rock, grunge, groove, disco, and pop to create music dark but danceable, cynical but optimistic.
